VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The ASEAN Foundation (AF) is an inter-governmental, non-profit organisation established by the ten ASEAN Member Countries (Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam) with the mandates to promote greater awareness of ASEAN among the general public, and help address poverty and socio-economic disparity issues in the region. It now invites applications from nationals of ASEAN Member Countries residing in Indonesia for the following career position.

ACCOUNTING OFFICER

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

Under the general guidance and the supervision of the Finance, Administration and Personnel Coordinator (FAP Coordinator), the Accounting Officer will perform the following:

Duties:

  1. Maintain and recording financial activities using prescribe accounting tools,
  2. check all disbursement, verify the accuracy of calculations and the completeness of supporting documents,
  3. to provide financial report and activities in daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  4. to manage petty cash of the Foundation,
  5. to represent the Foundation  in banking matters,
  6. to assist the FAP Coordinator and ED in generating the financial report for the Foundation and donors,
  7. to assist the FAP Coordinator in implementation of the financial control issues based on finance and staff regulation of the Foundation,
  8. to perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

  1. An accountancy education background, preferably at university level,
  2. three years of relevant accounting work experience, preferably accounting system development,
  3. computer literacy especially in word-processing, spreadsheet and knowledge accounting tools,
  4. good interpersonal skill and ability to work with minimum supervision,
  5. knowledge of ASEAN matters and financial management would be an asset.

 Conditions:

Selected candidates shall be offered the posts with probationary period of three months. Upon completion of the probationary period, each candidate will be given a three-year contract, inclusive of the three-month probationary period.

Remuneration:

Starting basic salary: Rp. 4 to 6 million per month, depending on qualifications and previous experiences. Other benefits include bonus, transportation, and medical allowances.

  1. SECRETARY/RECEPTIONIST
  2. PROJECT MANAGEMENT SUPPORT
  3. RESOURCE CENTER SUPPORT 

Conditions:

Selected students shall be offered the posts for three months working period and working under direct supervision of Finance, Admin and Personnel Coordinator. The foundation will support the interns with letters of reference upon the evaluation and completion of services.

Allowances:

Transport allowance will provided on daily basis
