Since 1997, the ASEAN Foundation has been empowering people, grassroots communities, and SMEs across ASEAN and beyond. We create opportunities for learning, collaboration, and leadership through scholarships, training, regional forums, and exchange programmes. Our initiatives help young people, professionals, and changemakers gain the skills and networks they need to drive inclusive growth and create a positive, lasting impact in the region—and beyond.

Arts and Cultures
Celebrating ASEAN’s rich diversity while bringing its people together as one community. We preserve cultural heritage and inspire pride in being part of ASEAN.
Business Community Engagement
Strengthening participation and collaboration of business entitites in order to create mutually beneficial relationships that improve the social, economic, and environmental well-being of all stakeholders.
Community Building
Strengthening the relationship between ASEAN citizens, advancing their common interest, and getting them involved with and benefitting from ASEAN’s integration.
Education
Investing in ASEAN’s future by equipping the community, especialy youth, with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive and lead in an increasingly competitive world.
Environment
Providing ASEAN people, especially youth, with upskilling and reskilling opportunities to become changemakers capable of tackling the region’s most pressing environmental issues.
Media
Helping storytellers, influencers, and media professionals better understand ASEAN better so they can showcase the real stories of the people of ASEAN.
