Job Description

The ASEAN Foundation is seeking an event organiser based in Bangkok, Thailand to assist in the preparation and execution of the ASEAN SEDP 4.0 Regional Workshop scheduled for October or November 2025. The event will support the growth of social enterprises across ASEAN through business matchmaking, a networking dinner, and a social enterprise sharing session.

Requirements

Minimum of five (5) years of experience in organising regional-scale events
Possess a valid company profile, business licenses, and necessary professional credentials to operate legally in Thailand
Fluency in both written and spoken English
Ability to work under tight deadlines and deliver high-quality results
Strong teamwork and adaptability to accommodate feedback and revisions
Familiarity with video conferencing platforms (Microsoft Teams and/or Zoom)
Experience in working in multi-stakeholder and cross-cultural environments
(Preferred) Previous experience working with intergovernmental organisations or international NGOs

Task and Responsibilities

Conduct venue surveys of the top five hotel candidates to assess suitability
Provide and manage event logistics including videotron, lighting, sound systems, decorations, printed materials, ID cards, stage equipment
Arrange English-speaking emcee and Thai-English sign language interpreter
Provide an English-speaking photographer and videographer for full event coverage
Coordinate and ensure smooth execution of the Networking Dinner on a cruiseArrange round-trip transportation for participants for the Networking Dinner
Manage on-site participant registration
Set up and dismantle event collaterals
Regular coordination with the ASEAN Foundation project team
