Syera is a social impact enthusiast with 4 years of experience in project management, research, and advocacy. Throughout her career, she has developed expertise in social impact measurement, budget management, stakeholder engagement, proposal and report writing, as well as monitoring and evaluation.
At the ASEAN Foundation, she has been leading ASEAN SEDP – an accelerator programme for social enterprises – since March 2023. As an aspiring social entrepreneur, she is passionate about driving social innovation by connecting social entrepreneurs with the resources they need to scale their impact.
Beyond her professional pursuits, she enjoys writing and engaging in grassroots work to promote social cohesion and peacebuilding through dialogue. She believes that dialogue builds bridges, fostering understanding and empathy. She holds an MSc in Asian Studies with a focus on Interreligious Studies and Peacebuilding from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
